In a weekend dedicated to the tenet of leadership, you will be exposed to multiple opportunities to discover for yourself what it means to take initiative and be a leader. These opportunities encompass attending a huge span of workshops, networking with Kiwanians, participating in District elections, and engaging in fellowship activities (e.g Club Lip Sync Battle). Afterwards, we’ll end the day with delicious food, team games, and a spectacular dance floor in celebration of our accomplishments! She has such an amazing, welcoming and caring personality and she deserves all the success and happiness in the world. I remember our very first CKI meeting, I never thought we would be this close and I cherish our time together and am looking forward to more! She’s been nothing but inspiring and motivating to every single Cki member especially to me! She is very inspiring, kind, hardworking and is always willing to help no matter what her situation is. My favorite memory with Beth is when we were dancing at 2am with on Dance with somebody! She makes people around her want to be kind, hardworking and positive all the time! If there were a zombie apocalypse, Beth would definitely survive. Fun fact: She is a vegetarian so it is very hard to tell. She also has a lot of embarrassing moments but I'm a good friend so I will not type it here! #ChooseCKI #nycirclek

Nominate your friends here: bit.ly/ckimemberspotlights Name: Isabelle Wang School: New York University Year: Freshman Position: Club Chair I am nominating Isabelle because I worry that her work has not been properly recognized. She is the most passionate member I have ever met, and she strives to better our club and our community EVERY DAY. Isabelle came into NYU CKI with an UNBELIEVABLE amount of passion. Her drive for service and fundraising are absolutely unparalleled. She is truly and incredible leader, and I cannot wait to see what she accomplishes. At our first club meeting, we were making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Bowery mission. I told everyone that if they needed more bread, I had a bunch of extra loaves that I could bring over. Not ten minutes later, Isabelle, who I did not know at the time (I know 😂), screams as loud as she can across the room, “JOEY I NEED BREAD.” Everyone went silent and then started laughing so hard! Issy has become my go to person, not only for CKI, but for anything I’m struggling through. She has changed my life in more ways than she will know, and I will forever be grateful. She will roast you before you can open your mouth.... Even so, she is a bundle of joy, and she spreads it to everyone around her! #ChooseCKI #nycirclek
